1、 The structural characteristics of the product: The cutter head is an important dredging component of the cutter suction dredger, installed at the forefront of the cutter frame. It consists of a cutter holder and cutter blades, and is equipped with detachable (replaceable) "teeth" on the toothed cutter (some of which are integrated into one). The cutter holder is mostly made of cast steel or cast steel welded combination, and the blades and teeth are made of wear-resistant alloy steel or manganese steel. The cutter head is connected to the transmission shaft, and 4-6 blades are moved in a spiral shape and installed on the cutter holder.
2、 Operation mode of the cutter:
1. Drive shaft driven
This is a more traditional way of operating the cutter of a cutter suction dredger. The motor rotates and is connected to the transmission shaft through a reducer, which drives the transmission shaft to rotate at a certain speed. Then, the rotation of the transmission shaft drives the cutter to rotate, stirring the sediment at the bottom of the river and causing it to move, thus proceeding to the next step of work. This is what we usually refer to as mechanical transmission.
2. Hydraulic motor drive
Another way of operating the cutter of a cutter suction dredger is through a hydraulic motor drive, commonly known as a hydraulic system that drives the equipment to work. The hydraulic motor can convert the energy transmitted by the hydraulic system into the required speed and torque for the cutter to rotate, making the cutter suction dredger more flexible and convenient in stirring the sand at the bottom of the river. 3: The main characteristics of a cutter are: 1. Reasonable design of cutting angles for different working conditions can reduce cutting resistance and improve cutting efficiency. 2. The cutter arms of different powers are made of high toughness low-alloy steel, which improves corrosion resistance and wear resistance. 3. According to different power levels of the cutter or special requirements, the cutter arm is equipped with detachable or integral digging teeth. The detachable teeth can be classified into sharp teeth, flat teeth, chisel teeth, etc. according to different working conditions, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
